We've al been practising all summer long, and now the day has finally come, this Sunday is Have a Better Barbi Day. Last year’s event prompted over 4 million BBQ occasions so Have a Better Barbi Day© is back by popular demand. On 24th August, gastro-grillers across the country will be getting to grips with their grills, all trying to be Better BBQ’ers and to have the Best Barbi in the neighbourhood! Aiming to be the biggest alfresco eating & entertaining event yet, it’s the perfect excuse to chill n’grill, drink and entertain!

7,000 entrants, 10 regional heats - but just 1 Winner -

| In association with Tesco, the search has been on over the past 2 months to find the best BBQ'er in Britain, regional heats have been held across the country and 7,000 people overall have entered.
The Grand Final was held on Thursday August 7th at the Tesco store, Acre Lane, Brixton. The competition was intense, but in the end Kevin Douglas, a Brixton Builder won with a great Chicken Ciabatta and superb Jerk Pork, accompanied by an innovative tower of Egg & Potato salad. In second place was Bolton lass Jenny Mason and in third place was Exeter based IT manager Adam Biddlestone. Well done to Kevin and all contestants. |

Alfresco Experience RoadShow's over for another year!
Biggest and most successful ever RoadShow!
After four long months, some great and some not so good weather the Alfresco Experience RoadShow has finally finished after visiting around 130 superstores, plus 10 multiple HQ , sponsor and media visits Around 1 million samples! Intial end of campaign estimates show that the RoadShow delivered slightly in excess of 1 million samples of sponsors products to consumers! Alfresco Experience Roadshow visits over the campaign!
