Be a Better BBQ'er on August 30th 2010

This August Bank Holiday weekend will see the return of the Have A Better Barbi Day event, which in 2009 prompted nearly 4 million BBQ occasions as families across the country went BBQ-crazy and invited friends and neighbours to join in a national Barbi-fest!

Although last summer was OK, it wasn't a 'scorcher' and its pretty unlikely that the Met Office will once again a BBQ Summer. However by using more tried and trusted routes, summer 2010 has the potential for being a real 'sizzler' so hopefully by the end of the season we'll all be ready for a great Bank Holiday weekend on which to celebrate the 4th Have a Better Barbi Day.

However this year there will be a
'twist' as families across the
country will be encouraged to be
both Better BBQ'ers', whilst also
donating to one of a range of
high profile Charities - with the
theme - Have a Barbi -
Give a Pound! so the Day is sure
to be not only a huge success,
with the smell of Barbi's wafting
across neighbourhoods all over
the UK, but it'll also hopefully do
some good as well!
